U.S. Senate - 2010
The Grassroots Alliance consists of a number of independent, autonomous community organizations.
Autonomous organizations that belong to the Alliance are free to schedule anyone to speak at their group events. They are also free to endorse any candidate they choose. The Alliance, which so far has not scheduled any event except the press conference does not sponsor activities that promote one (constitutional) candidate over another, even though member organizations may choose to do so.
It’s our hope that member organizations will not formally endorse any one candidate until after the precinct caucuses in March. It is probable that many alliance organizations may not formally endorse any candidate(s) until after the convention(s), though each organization reserves the right to do so if it is determined to be advantageous to the members of the Alliance and the people of the State.
